McDavid and Studli take Round of the Day in Callaway Junior Tour at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club

A field of 83 golfers, aged 10 to 18, participated in the Callaway Junior Tour, sponsored by Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal and hosted by the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA), Monday at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club in Hurricane.

Stephen McDavid of Scott Depot, playing in the boys 17-18 division, won the Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day for boys. Isabelle Studli of Fairfield, Pa., playing in the girls 15-18 division, won the Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day for girls.

“I want to thank Jimmy Harrison and his staff for all they did for our junior golfers today and we want to congratulate all the division winners,” said WVGA Director of Junior Golf and Core Services Lucas Ware.

Division winners were:

  • Boys 12 & under: Jude Walker of Elizabeth, (+4) 76;
  • Boys 13-14: Parker O’Dell of Hurricane, (+4) 76;
  • Boys 15-16: Isaac Hayes of Hurricane, (+2) 74;
  • Boys 17-18: Stephen McDavid of Scott Depot, (-2) 70;
  • Girls 10-14: Chastyn Viars of South Charleston, (+31) 103.; and
  • Girls 15-18: Isabelle Studli of Fairfield, Pa., (+11) 83.
