About
The West Virginia Golf Association is dedicated to promoting and preserving the game of golf in West Virginia.
Established in 1913 as the West Virginia District Golf Association, we represent 85 Member Clubs and 11,000+ golfers statewide. As a central information hub, we administer the USGA Handicap System, Course/Slope Rating, qualifying rounds, and manage amateur status. We oversee The First Tee of West Virginia, organize one-day events, and preserve golf history through the West Virginia Golf Hall of Fame.
