Glenn Yost Takes Second WVGA Senior Series Low Round in Two Days

Glenn Yost of Barboursville took his second Little General Stores Low Round of the Day in two days at the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA) Senior Series event Thursday at Pipestem Resort State Park following a three-way scorecard playoff, shooting a one under par (-1) 71.

Overall, 108 players enjoyed the great weather at today’s Senior Series event.  The Senior Series, which is presented by Little General Stores and conducted by the WVGA, is for players ages 50 and older.  Categories are: Senior, 50-59; Silver, 60-69; Gold, 70-79; and Diamond, 80+.

“We had a great crowd today at over 100 golfers!  We were excited to host them and, while the course was green and full from the recent rains, the day was warm, dry and really good,” said Pipestem’s Director of Golf Steve Robertson.
