The Callaway Junior Tour, sponsored by Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal and hosted by the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA), concluded its regular season today at Edgewood Country Club in Charleston.
Today’s event featured a total field of 101 golfers aged 9 to 18. Grant Roush of Mason, playing in the boys 17-18 division, won the Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day for boys, finishing at three under par (-3) 68. Lexi Green of Charleston, playing in the girls 15-18 division, won the Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day for girls at five over par (+5) 76.
Division winners were:
- Boys 12 and under: Anderson Lilly of Oak Hill, (+1) 72;
- Boys 13-14: Jude Walker of Elizabeth, (+2) 73;
- Boys 15-16: Isaac Hayes of Hurricane, (E) 71;
- Boys 17-18: Grant Roush of Mason, (-3) 68;
- Girls 10-14: Alexis Bolen of South Charleston, (+27) 98; and
- Girls 15-18: Lexi Green of Charleston, (+5) 76.
“It’s always great to have the young golfers here and to see the passion they bring to the game. Not too many years ago, I played in these events and created great memories,” said Edgewood’s Assistant Golf Professional David Scragg. “Kenny Eggelston and his crew have done a spectacular job with the greens and the whole course, even with the heat and rain in recent weeks.”
WVGA’s Director of Junior Golf and Core Services Lucas Ware said, “It has been a great season this year for junior golf and we’re looking forward to the championship later this week. We want to thank Edgewood and all our other host courses for the 2025 regular season.”
