This is Duty’s 11th Low Round of the season.

The West Virginia Senior Series, which is presented by Little General Stores and conducted by the WVGA, is for players ages 50 and up.

“I love being part of the state and WVGA.  We love hosting these events and were honored to host the final Senior Series event of the season.  We love the senior golfers, and they had a great time on our course,” said Parkersburg’s Head Golf Professional Adam Chesnut.  “The course was fantastic today.  We’ve aerated and had rain, so the course was actually green today.”

Overall, 106 players enjoyed the WVGA the day’s Senior Series event.  Categories are: Senior, 50-59; Silver, 60-69; Gold, 70-79; and Diamond, 80+.

“It was amazing to see over 100 senior golfers here today at Parkersburg Country Club from all across the state,” said WVGA Director of Women’s Golf and One Day Series Sarah Cole.  “It’s been a terrific season and we thank all our host courses for their gracious hospitality and course quality, even under difficult heat and drought conditions.”
