The Callaway Junior Tour, sponsored by Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal and hosted by the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA), visited Lewisburg Elks Country Club Thursday with a total field of 40 golfers aged 10 to 18.
Xavier Honaker of Sandstone, playing in the boys 17-18 division, won the Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day for boys, finishing at even par (E) 70. Isabelle Studli of Fairfield, Pa., playing in the girls 15-18 division, won the Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day for girls at 12 over par (+12) 82. Brothers Jake and Isaac Hutchison of Lewisburg each won their respective divisions, Jake following a “green grass” playoff.
Division winners were:
- Boys 12 & under: Ryker Adwell of Caldwell;
- Boys 13-14: Jake Hutchison of Lewisburg;
- Boys 15-16: Isaac Hutchison of Lewisburg;
- Boys 17-18: Xavier Honaker of Sandstone;
- Girls 10-14: Valentina Aguilar of Elkins; and
- Girls 15-18: Isabelle Studli of Fairfield, Pa.
“It was great to host two days of junior golf in this part of West Virginia. Now we just need to work on Mother Nature’s cooperation,” said WVGA’s Director of Junior Golf and Core Services.

The Callaway Junior Tour is in action again for a two-day, 36-hole event on June 9 at Guyan Golf and Country Club and June 10 at Esquire Golf Course.
