The Callaway Junior Tour, sponsored by Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal and hosted by the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA), concluded its two-day, 36-hole combined event Tuesday at Rt. 56 Golf Course in Ravenswood. The first day took place on Monday at Parkersburg Country Club. Today’s event featured a total field of 74 golfers aged 9 to 18.
Cameron Fallon of Parkersburg, playing in the boys 15-18 division, was the boys’ winner of the two-day event, finishing at one under par (-1) 144, while Isabelle Studli of Fairfield, Pa., playing in the girls 15-18 division, was the girls’ winner of the two-day event, finishing at 12 over par (+12) 158.
Anderson Lilly of Oak Hill, playing in the boys 12 and under division, won the Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day for boys, finishing at one under par (-1) 71. Isabelle Studli of Fairfield, Pa., playing in the girls 15-18 division, won the Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day for girls at six over par (+6) 78.
Division winners were:
- Boys 12 & under: Anderson Lilly of Oak Hill (-1) 71 on a green-grass playoff;
- Boys 13-14: Bentley Shirkey of Barboursville, (+4) 76 on a green-grass playoff;
- Boys 15-16: Malachi Flohr of Daniels, (E) 72;
- Boys 17-18: Cameron Fallon of Parkersburg, (-1) 71;
- Girls 10-14: Valentina Aguilar of Elkins, (+21) 93; and
- Girls 15-18: Isabelle Studli of Fairfield, Pa., (+6) 78.
“We’re glad to be part of a two-day event since our course is in such good shape,” said Rt. 56’s clubhouse manager Dolores Sizemore.
“The second day of our 36-hole combined event went well for players, and we congratulate Anderson and Isabelle for their finishes today,” said WVGA’s Director of Junior Golf and Core Services Lucas Ware. “We congratulate Cameron and Isabelle for winning the two-day combined event!”
