Bob Clark Takes First WVGA Senior Series Low Round of 2025 Season

Bob Clark of Wheeling took his first Little General Stores Low Round of the Day at the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA) Senior Series event Thursday at Stonewall Resort on a scorecard playoff, shooting a two over par (+2) 70.

Overall, 105 players enjoyed the great weather at today’s Senior Series event.  The Senior Series, which is presented by Little General Stores and conducted by the WVGA, is for players ages 50 and older.  Categories are: Senior, 50-59; Silver, 60-69; Gold, 70-79; and Diamond, 80+.

“We had a great crowd today at over 100 golfers!  We were excited to host these senior golfers, and we’re pleased the course was in good condition considering this month’s dry and hot weather,” said Stonewall’s Head Golf Professional Mike Rogers.

“Mike and the Stonewall staff provided our golfers with an obviously great test of golf today in beautiful weather conditions,” said WVGA Director of Women’s Golf and One Day Series Sarah Cole.  “We were pleased with the size of the turnout!”
