*You must register as a team or as partners.*

Eligibility: Entry is open to amateur female golfers.

Entry Fee: $65.00 per event. This fee includes lunch, greens fee and cart fee, as well as prizes.

Withdrawal Policy: Refunds will be issued to those who properly withdraw before the registration deadline. An $8 processing fee will be assessed. Withdrawals made after the registration deadline will not be issued a refund, with the exception of a medical emergency or the like.

Pairing Request/Pairings: The WVGA accepts pairing requests at each of our Women’s Series events. Players may email Sarah Cole ([email protected]) to make pairing requests. Pairings will be made and released at least one day prior to each event and will be included in your Player Information email

Contact: For any questions or concerns regarding the Women’s Series please contact Sarah Cole ([email protected]).

Format: The tournament format will change with each tournament. A player’s Handicap Index is calculated on the day of close of entries.

Optional Prizes: At each tournament, players will have the option to purchase a raffle ticket, at $5.00 each. These are purchased at the Registration Table.

Flights: Each tournament will include two (2) gross and net flights, separated by Team Handicap. Some events will include an optional gross and net Individual Stroke Play flight.

Event Yardages: The WVGA strives to make sure that each division is playing from an appropriate yardage at each of the Women’s Series events. Yardage approximations for each flight are listed below but please note that these could change slightly depending on host facility and/or weather.

Approximate Yardages: Women 49&U will play from 5,600 yards. Women 50-64 will play from 5,200 yards. Women 65+ will play from 4,800 yards.

Player’s Meeting/Announcements: A WVGA staff member will hold a player’s meeting 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the shotgun round. It is imperative that all players be at their golf carts at this time so that the WVGA staff can go over the Notice to Players for that day as well as any announcements from the host facility. Once concluded, players will be instructed to their starting holes

Score Posting: The WVGA will automatically post tournament scores at the end of tournament days. Do not post your own scores, for they will be posted twice in your World Handicap System.
