With 90-plus-degree temperatures proving as challenging as the Edgewood Country Club course, professional Will Evans of Charleston maintained his first-round lead moving into Friday’s Championship round with a 12 under par 130.
Todd Duncan of Daniels holds second at 10 under par 132, with Cam Roam of Huntington in third at nine under par 133 and Kenny Hess (p) of Parkersburg in fourth at seven under par 135.
