Christiansen takes WVGA Senior Series Low Round at Mountaineer Woodview

Neil Christiansen of Parkersburg shot the Little General Stores Low Round of the Day at Tuesday’s Senior Series event, hosted by the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA) and sponsored by Little General Stores, at Mountaineer Woodview Golf Course in New Cumberland with a two over par 74.

“The course is in good shape and handled recent rains well. We’re excited for the WVGA golfers to see our renovated club house,” said Mountaineer Woodview Director of Golf Rick Welday. “It’s good to host everyone for two days in this area.”

“Thank you to Mountaineer Woodview and Rick Welday for hosting us today. The course was in great shape and well worth the drive,” said WVGA Director of Women’s Golf and One Day Series Sarah Cole. “It was great seeing a solid field for the Senior Series in the Northern Panhandle.”
