Callaway Junior Tour ends northern tour at Wheeling Country Club

The Callaway Junior Tour, sponsored by Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal and hosted by the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA), visited Wheeling Country Club Thursday with a total field of 55 golfers aged 10 to 18.

Audrey Kerr of Bridgeport, playing in the girls 15-18 division, won her first Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day for girls in the 2024 season.

Luke Tiu of Wheeling, playing in the boys 17-18 division, won his first Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day for boys for the season.

“Junior golf represents the next generation of golfers,” said Wheeling’s general manager and head golf professional Rich Conwell.  “We love seeing them out there competing and we will welcome the Callaway Junior Tour every year!”

The division winners were:

  • Boys 12 & under: Jude Walker of Elizabeth;
  • Boys 13-14: Evan Johnson of Greenup, Ky.;
  • Boys 15-16: Owen Estel of Morgantown;
  • Boys 17-18: Luke Tiu of Wheeling;
  • Girls 10-14: Makenzie Egress of Buckhannon; and
  • Girls 15-18: Audrey Kerr of Bridgeport.
