Ian Patrick Takes WVGA Senior Series Low Round at Glade Springs

Ian Patrick took Tuesday’s Little General Stores Low Round of the Day at the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA) Senior Series event on the Cobb Course at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, shooting a four under par (-4) 68.

Overall, 100 players enjoyed the day at Glade Springs for today’s Senior Series event.  The Senior Series, which is presented by Little General Stores and conducted by the WVGA, is for players ages 50 and older.  Categories are: Senior, 50-59; Silver, 60-69; Gold, 70-79; and Diamond, 80+.

“The entire staff at The Resort at Glade Springs showed our folks an excellent day of golf,” said WVGA Director of Women’s Golf and One Day Series Sarah Cole.  “We had an amazing turnout!”

In addition to Patrick winning the Senior Gross category, other winners today were:

  • Senior Net: David Moore of Lewisburg, (-7) 65;
  • Silver Gross: Harold Payne of Hurricane, (+2) 74;
  • Silver Net: Jerry Johnson of Parkersburg, (-6) 66;
  • Gold Gross: Randy Clark of Hurricane, (+3) 75;
  • Gold Net: David Chrisman of Smoot, (-4) 68; and
  • Diamond Gross: Bob White of Hurricane, (+23) 95; and
  • Diamond Net: Joe Funderburk of Charleston, (+8) 80.
