2024 Callaway Junior Rookie League Closes Season at Locust Hill Golf Club in Charles Town

The 2024 Callaway Junior Tour Rookie League, sponsored by Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal and hosted by the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA), closed its season on Sunday, Sept. 8, at Locust Hill Golf Club in Charles Town.

The CJRT Rookie League is broken into three divisions, based on skill and experience. 

The Callaway Junior Tour Rookie League played at Locust Hill and featured a field of 20 golfers aged 5 to 18.  Division winners were:

  • AAA (nine holes): Brody Lemon of Morgantown at (+7) 43;
  • AA (nine holes): Braylon Shultz of Kearneysville at (+6) 42; and
  • A (six holes): Elijah Stewart of Martinsburg at (+4) 28.

“It was a great day for our final 2024 event and we can’t thank Wayne Clark and his staff enough for their preparation and hospitality for these young golfers and their families,” said First Tee – West Virginia Program Director Alyssa Scragg.
