Duty wins playoff to take WVGA Senior Series Low Round at Bel Meadow

Following a four-way playoff, John Duty of Hurricane shot the Little General Stores Low Round of the Day at Tuesday’s Senior Series event, hosted by the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA) and sponsored by Little General Stores, at Bel Meadow Golf Club in Mt. Clare with a four over par 76.

“Thank you to Bel Meadow for making a cloudy day brighter for our senior golfers,” said WVGA Director of Women’s Golf and One Day Series Sarah Cole.

“We’re delighted to have the WVGA Senior Series golfers here today,” said Bel Meadow’s Tim Spiker.  “The course is in good shape.  The greens are a bit hard, and the traps have new sand.”
