The West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA) FLIGHT by Yuengling Amateur Series concluded the 2022 season Thursday at Lakeview Resort with a win by Jared Taylor of Bluefield in the Championship Division.
Josh Howell of Charlton Heights took the Men’s Gross division, while Karen Rainey of Daniels won the Women’s Division once again.
Rainey and Howell each clinched the Amateur Series Player of the Year awards in their respective divisions, while Davey Jude clinched the Championship Division following the September 22 event at Logan Country Club.
“Yuengling were great title sponsors this year,” said WVGA Tournament Director Chance Hindbaugh. “They even brought some goodies today for all the players to celebrate the end of the season!”
The FLIGHT by Yuengling Amateur Series was open to anyone, male or female, of any skill level. Awards were given in several flights based on net and gross scores.
