The West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA) FLIGHT by Yuengling Amateur Series saw Jess Ferrell of Fairmont took the title in the Championship flight for the second consecutive day. He finished the second win with a three under par 73 at Apple Valley, one stroke ahead of both Jared Taylor of Bluefield and Ian Patrick of Huntington.
Van Stemple of Shepherdstown took the Men’s Gross Division after scoring six birdies and an eagle, posting a five under par 71; he also won the Men’s Net Division with a three under par 73. Karen Rainey of Daniels took both the Women’s Gross and Net Divisions.
The FLIGHT by Yuengling Amateur Series is open to anyone, male or female, of any skill level. Awards are given in several flights based on net and gross scores.
