
The boys’ Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day with a three under par 68 after scoring five birdies.
The Callaway Junior Tour, sponsored by Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal and hosted by the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA), played Monday at Edgewood Country Club. Matthew Carney of Barboursville took the boys’ Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day with a three under par 68 after scoring five birdies, while the girls’ Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day went to Taylor Sargent of Milton with a six over par 77 after scoring two birdies. Jack Michael of Huntington scored a hole in one on the fourth hole.
“It is always a pleasure hosting any of the WVGA events. Brad and his staff are always prepared and very well organized which makes my job very easy,” said Edgewood’s PGA Head Golf Professional Craig Berner. “Kenny and his staff have the golf course in wonderful condition.”
“It’s always a fun day at Edgewood Country Club, and today was no different,” said WVGA Tournament Manager – Youth Operations. “The course is in great condition and the staff is always very welcoming.”
