Jack Michael of Huntington earned the Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Boys’ Round of the Day. “I’m excited to have shot my third straight round under par on the Callaway Junior Tour,” said Michael.

The Callaway Junior Tour, sponsored by Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal, was hosted on July 14 at Oglebay Resort’s Crispin course in Wheeling.  Jack Michael of Huntington in the Boys’ 13-14 Division and Remmey Lohr of Carmichaels, PA, in the Girls’ 15-18 Division won the Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Rounds of the Day.

Remmey Lohr of Carmichaels, PA, earned the Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Girls’ Round of the Day. Lohr said, “I was happy to come out on top in my Division and win the Girls’ Round of the Day.”

Other division winners were: Girls 10-14 – Mckenzie Armstrong of Belmont, Ohio; Boys 12 and under – McCartney Hinkle of Princeton; Boys 15-16 – Mario Palumbo of Charleston; and Boys 17-18 – Bobby Kincaid of Nampa, Idaho.

The event, a partner of Callaway Golf and conducted by the West Virginia Golf Association, featured a field of 70 golfers 18 and under from across West Virginia and other states.

The Callaway Junior Tour is back in action Thursday on the Jones course at Oglebay Resort.
