The Callaway Junior Tour Rookie League (CJRT), sponsored by Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Co. and hosted by the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA), played an event Sunday at Sistersville Country Club.

The CJRT is broken into three divisions, based on skill and experience.  Division winners today were:

  • AAA (nine holes): McKenzie Armstrong of Belmont;
  • AA (nine holes): Izac Dotson of Elizabeth; and
  • A (six holes): Mason Karp of Weston.

“We’re glad to have the WVGA here anytime and our club members were excited for this event,” said Sistersville Country Club Head Golf Professional Tim Meeks.  “We had the most kids ever today for this event that’s a great starter for the youth and the Callaway Rookie League.”

“We had a great field of players today who truly enjoyed the hospitality of the Sistersville members,” said WVGA Tournament Manager – Youth Operations Lucas Ware.

The event, a partner of Callaway Golf and conducted by the West Virginia Golf Association, featured a field of 22 golfers ages 6 to 15 from across West Virginia.
