Association (WVGA), outlasted weather delays Tuesday at Canaan Valley Resort. The highlight of the day was a hole-in-one on hole 4 made by Solas Chhin-Kreiner of Morgantown.
The Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day for girls was won by Kerri-Anne Cook of Oceana with an 81, while McCartney Hinkle of Bluefield, Va., won the Low Round for boys with a 75.

“We always enjoy hosting the Callaway Junior Tour, and I’m glad our youth golfers made the trip,” said Canaan’s Golf Pro Shop Manager Sherri Harold. “We’re looking forward to the other WVGA events we will host this year, as well.”
“We had a short delay after a few holes, but the bad weather stayed away for the rest of the afternoon,” said WVGA Tournament Manager – Youth Operations Lucas Ware. “I’m glad, because there was some good golf played today, despite the wet conditions.”
Division winners were:
- Boys 12 & under: Luca Collier of Elkins;
- Boys 13-14: McCartney Hinkle of Bluefield, Va.;
- Boys 15-16: Liam Lohr of Carmichaels, Pa.;
- Boys 17-18: Bobby Kincaid of Nampa, Idaho;
- Girls 10-14: McKenzie Armstrong of Belmont; and
- Girls 15-18: Kerri-Anne Cook of Oceana.
