Kerri-Anne Cook of Oceana, in the 15-18 Division, achieved the Girl’s Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Round of the Day on the Gary Player-designed course.

“This is a tough golf course,” Cook said.  “To shoot a round in the 70s and win the Round of the Day was awesome.”  Michael said, “I played very well the past two days and was glad to shoot under par and win the Round of the Day at Canaan and The Raven.”

“The Raven presents a challenge to these young players, and adults, as well, so we were pleased to host this broad field of participants today,” said The Raven’s Director of Golf Todd Barker.

The event, a partner of Callaway Golf and conducted by the West Virginia Golf Association, featured a field of 45 golfers 18 and under from across West Virginia and other states.

The Callaway Junior Tour is back in action next week at Riverside Oglebay Resort.
