John Duty of Hurricane shot the Little General Stores Low Round of Day at the Senior Series event Monday at Parkersburg Country Club with a two over par 72.
The Senior Series, sponsored by Little General Stores and conducted by the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA), is for players age 50 and up, and included seven players over 80. Overall, 95 players enjoyed the course on a beautiful October day. Categories are: Senior, 50-59; Silver, 60-69; Gold, 70-79; and 80+.
In addition to John Duty winning the Silver Gross, other winners today were:
- Senior Gross: Matt Koreski of Parkersburg;
- Senior Net: Brian Watson of Washington;
- Silver Net: Steve Bailey of Vienna;
- Gold Gross: Ben Watson of Daniels; and
- Gold Net: Dave Bush of Scott Depot.
