The West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA) Amateur Tour concluded its season on July 7 on the Cobb course at Glade Springs Resort in Daniels.
The 2021 Overall Champion was Cam Roam of Huntington, with Dean Daniels of McHenry, Maryland, claiming the Mens’ Division Champion title and Kathy Chesley of Charleston claiming the Ladies’ Division Champion title.
Roam said, “I played really well today, other than making a triple on #16, but I am very happy to win the Amateur Tour player of the year honors.” Chesley said, “I’m very happy to have won the season title and I enjoyed playing with all the ladies!!”
The event featured a field of 42 players.
