The West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA) FLIGHT by Yuengling Amateur Series opened the 2022 season Wednesday at Riverside Golf Club in Mason.
Cam Roam of Huntington, the 2021 Overall Champion, fired a one under par 69 to win the Championship Flight by three strokes over Buckhannon’s Christian McKisic. “I enjoy these one-day Amateur Series events,” Roam said.
Susan Glasby of Huntington fired a one over par 71 to win the Women’s Flight.
The FLIGHT by Yuengling Amateur Series is open to anyone, male or female, of any skill level. Awards are given in several flights based on net and gross scores.
The event featured a field of 54 players.

The FLIGHT by Yuengling Amateur Series is back in action on Monday, May 16, at Glade Springs.
