Tony Bryant of Bridgeport earned the Little General Stores Low Round of the Day at the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA) Senior Series event Monday at Preston Country Club with a one over par 73.
“A great day at Preston Country Club was had by a field of 55, with Tony Bryant taking the Little General Stores Low Round of the Day with a one over par 73,” said WVGA Tournament Manager Chance Hindbaugh. “Special thanks go to Rick Soccorsi, Tim Bucklew and the whole crew at Preston Country Club as they were gracious hosts to the WVGA Senior Series today!”
Bryant commented on his Low Round of the Day, saying, “I played really well today and have been looking to get one of these Little General Stores trophies all year! I finally put it all together today!”
The West Virginia Senior Series, which is presented by Little General Stores and conducted by the WVGA, is for players age 50 and up. Categories are: Senior, 50-59; Silver, 60-69; Gold, 70-79; and 80+.

- Senior Net: Tim Bucklew of Reedsville;
- Silver Gross: Tony Bryant of Bridgeport;
- Silver Net: Bryan Wells of Mineral Wells;
- Gold Gross: Mike Wylie of White Sulphur Springs;
- Gold Net: Michael Hall of Morgantown;
- 80+ Gross: Bob White of Hurricane; and
- 80+ Net: Duane Lescalet of Wheeling.
