2022 marks the third year of Kalaskey Orthodontics as the title sponsor of this event.  “This is a great event, and it is awesome to have such a strong field up here at Berry Hills this year,” said Dr. Larry Kalaskey.  “The talent is very, very impressive this year.”

“The West Virginia Women’s Amateur Championship is particularly special to us because Dr. Kalaskey, who is a member here, sponsors it.  Torren, his daughter, is a member here and I’ve taught her for years,” Berry Hills’ Head Golf Professional Barry Evans said.  “We love hosting these events.  We love to see the good players come to Berry Hills and see how Berry Hills holds up.  Course condition wise, we’ve had four inches of rain since Tuesday.  Our greens are pretty good because we have drainage under all of them, but the fairways are very wet and we chose to play winter rules, meaning carts on cart paths only.”
