
Daneen Shears of Elizabeth won the 2022 Championship with a six-stroke lead over three-time Champion Karen Kinnett of Shepherdstown.
The 49th Playing of the West Virginia Women’s Senior Amateur Championship, conducted by the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA), concluded Tuesday at Pipestem Resort State Park, with Daneen Shears of Elizabeth winning with a six-stroke lead over three-time Champion Karen Kinnett of Shepherdstown.
All division winners were:
- Championship Flight: Daneen Shears of Elizabeth;
- Championship Runner-Up: Karen Kinnett of Shepherdstown;
- Championship Low Net: Nancy Strine of Shepherdstown;
- 1st Flight Gross Winners (tie): Kathy Thompson of Summersville and Karen Rainey of Daniels;
- 1st Flight Net Winner: Rose Wayland of Shepherdstown;
- 2nd Flight Gross Winner: Drema Watts of St. Albans;
- 2nd Flight Net Winner: Kimberly Mann of Hernando, FL;
- 3rd Flight Gross Winners (tie): Cynthia Maret of St. Albans and Susan Thompson of South Charleston;
- 3rd Flight Net Winner: Donna Dugas of Warwood;
- 4th Flight Gross Winner: Terri Donaldson of Bridgeport;
- 4th Flight Net Winner: Kris Stanton of Clarksburg;
- Silver Division Gross Winner: Kathy Thompson of Summersville;
- Silver Division Net Winner: Nancy Strine of Shepherdstown;
- Gold Division Gross Winner: Caroline Ramsey of Bridgeport; and
- Gold Division Net Winner: Lenora Thomas of Fayetteville.
